What does the Paragliding certificate do?

You can use it as a job opportunity when you reach certain levels for the certificates to be obtained from the institution authorized by the Turkish Aeronautical Association, which is valid by the International Civil Aviation (FAI) and is the institution that issued this certificate. Who can give Paragliding Training?


Paragliding Courses are provided by authorized institutions or organizations. It is given by people who have received the Paragliding Instructor Certificate among these institutions and organizations. By completing certain courses and stages, Paragliding Instructors are entitled to receive certificates that are authorized to provide training. In this way, they can open courses in education in a serious and safe way.

Paragliding Beginner Course
P2 Certificate

If the weather conditions are suitable, the starter course takes an average of 7-10 days. In this course opened with 2 instructors, course equipment is provided by the institution or organization that opened the course. The course content includes theoretical training, ground training, theoretical practice exam, low altitude (30 meters) flights. The trainees who successfully complete the course are entitled to receive the Turkish Aeronautical Association Approved Beginner (P2) certificate.

Paragliding Intermediate Level Training
P3 Certification

The trainees who have completed the introductory course continue their flights by purchasing their own equipment. In this course, Intermediate level training, which is one of the important levels of paragliding, is explained to you. The course duration is approximately 4-6 weeks. In the course, important information such as meteorology, ground training, emergency training is given. The trainees who are successful at the end of the course are entitled to receive THK approved Intermediate P3 Certificate.

Paragliding Pilot Level Course
P4 Certificate

In this course, where trainees who have reached the pilot level now fulfill certain rules and conditions, it is planned to bring you a better level of paragliding control and staying in the air longer. During the course, you will reinforce detailed information and examine thermal activities in detail. At the end of the course, you will gain confidence in yourself and your equipment with the Emergency training under the control of the instructor.

Paragliding Experienced Pilot Course
P5 Certificate

After completing the pilot training, you are entitled to attend the next level, the experienced pilot course. In this course, you will receive training on meteorological subjects, thermal activities, cross-country flights (distance flights) and emergencies. Experienced pilot course will give you experience in many subjects. After completing the P5 course, you are entitled to attend other courses to be opened. After this certificate course, you can attend the Instructor course and continue to improve yourself at this level. If you wish, you can qualify for the T1 tandem course, which is the next level for tandem flights.

Paragliding Tandem Course
T1 Certificate

After completing the experienced pilot course, this course you want to attend will give you experience in many subjects such as theoretical, technical, take-off, landing, emergency situations that you need to do in two-person flights. The tandem course covers important issues that you should pay attention to in two-person flights. Trainees who have completed the T1 course are obliged to fly only licensed pilots. Commercial flights are not recommended.

Paragliding Commercial Tandem Course
T2 Certificate

Trainees participating in the Commercial Tandem Course pass important exams. In this exam, they are subject to exams at levels such as theory, practice, take-off, flight and landing under the supervision of instructors. Persons who pass this exam are authorized to operate commercial flights. Therefore, it is one of the difficult exams. This certificate is required in places where many commercial flights are made, such as Fethiye Oludeniz, Antalya Alanya, Denizli Pamukkale. Those who receive the certificate can make commercial flights after completing the necessary documents in companies that have a Tursab certificate approved by the Ministry of Tourism.
